Afternoon,

I am using the crimbo limbo to make some headway Installing a new engine.

I am bolting all of the tinware etc to make sure it fits on a bench before I start fitting it in an engine bay..

I purchased as a kit a pair of Weber 40's with a CB linkage and manifolds. The lower part of the CB linkage does not line up to the manifold holes. The carbs line up just fine.

Is it normal to have to drill new holes for a CB linkage? I was expecting the "kit" to fit.

That's the air filter base, it fits on top of the carb not the inlet manifold.
Pic from my squareback, but the kit's the same.

I cut the hex bar tabs off and installed a CSP bellcrank linkage instead.
