The wire to the choke came off on a trip out yesterday and has frazzled a little bit along with the wire from the coil to the solenoid. Looks like they were joined?? Am no sparky so appreciate any help here. I want to fix it myself so... am I right in saying that the black wire from the coil goes directly to the solenoid and on the same wire attach a second wire to the choke? 69 US import Westy. Cheers

I am sure someone more educated than me will be along in a min, you should have a in line fuse that go's to the solenoid, . This is the 12v feed from the ignition this goes to the coil and to the cut off solenoid on the carb and (this is where I get sketchy) then to the choke ?. I don't have the choke mine is the press and hold the throttle to engage. Hope this . Helps a bit

From the positive side of the coil, wire to the solenoid and to the choke, no fuse holder. The only time you would have a fuse holder there is for the feed for the reverse light circuit.

Being a us bus definately should have the reverse lights and the fuse,
