Commer owners, who knew..

Did that in a bit of a rush before while I remembered it, should of taken a screen grab..

I'm sure it was said light hearted, thinking he was speaking to a closed audience.. Not forgiving it of course.

I'm actually thinking of selling one of my earlybay's to buy a Commer as I've always loved them since I saw one as a kid.

We were holidaying in Florence near Brecon last year and came across this nice pub by the canal and as it was lunchtime pulled into the carpark for refreshment (beer) .
Well what a reception, parked up were half a dozen Commer campers in various states. I went across to say hello but was met with stony silence totally unfriendly.
The only friendly member of the group was a Springer Spaniel. We thought this rather odd at the time and didn't realise about the animosity towards VW's.
Florence outshone them all and made us very proud of her.
