Cornwall last two weeks of August - now with pics update

Anyone planning a trip? We are heading down with no firm plans at the mo of where to stay, looking to do a mini tour after staying on Pentuwan Sands the last two years......

Forgot i posted here doh!

My cousin is in Pentuwan again this year for the last two weeks so we will prob make an apearance 8) I noticed last year that altho the site was fully booked they keep some spaced in field F i guess for tourers. See you there Tezzah.

Keep me posted fellas as we could arange a beer or two somewhere in Cornwall.

What recomendations for sites have you got?

we stay at Tristram in Polzeath, its pricey but very, very good. So near the beach and it would cost you about £7 to park for the day anyway!

Ill check it out m8, thats why we went to Pentuwan 2 yrs running, just fancy a bit of a tour now i got me new engine n all, need to justify it :lol:

Ive looked at that side before, im liking that. My plan is (atm) down south cornwall hooking up with my mate in Truro, then back up the north coast, deffo try n get in Tristam.

have a look at st ives holiday park just outside of hale its rite by the beach walk over the dunes and you are on it.
If you don`t need electric you get a better view looking over the sea been there the last 3 years

Yeah we're stopping on the way down, Cheddar Gorge on the way down and Lynton, North Devon on the way back up!

Gwithian is good mate, another one thats pretty much on the beach with a good pub and some cafes near by. Be up for a beer if you do stop there

We stayed in Gwithian last year. Going back again in July. Love the place, right in the dunes. Great beach as well

It would mate - we're down from Aug 8th until 22nd, we'll be in Bude area from 8th then 3 nights in Tristram (polzeath) 10th to 13th then back to bude
