at present i m running a 1835, with a standard box , had it rolling roaded giving me 100bhp at wheels . problem ive got is my speedo is allover the place , reads whatever it wants ive put nes set of clocks in , no better, can i guage my speed off my sat nav and what should i comfertably be able to cruise at , this is in a tintop with devon interior ,thanks in advance :D

sat navs are fairly accurate.ive been using my satnav for 5 years for going thru speed camaras and have never had a ticket.

both my dailys will read 58 mph when the sat nav says 60mph.

as for cruising speed, gear box is a big factor.i would hapily cruise at 70mph with a standard setup but its happyer at 60mph.
plenty of people will never go above 50 mph tho.depends on weather you like to hear what sounds like your engine is trying to tear its way in to the cab

This is what the manual says about cruising speed.

But as said before if the bus with that engine is happy at higher speeds then well.... Its happy :)

Mines cruising speed is 55  but will do 65 at a push.
Standard 1600cc SP motor and standard box, wheels, tyres etc

Ours will do 75-80 mph but gets fairly hot over 60mph. 55-60mph fully loaded up and she's quite happy. 1641 TP 36 dells.

cheers for all the info feel bit more confident in puttin my foot down lol , preferr to potter around but sometimes a bit of extra oomph is always needed :D
