Does anybody have one fitted ? Does it do what it says on the tin, better cooling etc,?

I`m running a 1776 with full flow oil will it be worth the money,no over heating probs but notrun ti through the hot summer yet (hope for one this year).
cheers phil.

My bug had a 1776 with full-flow and a deep sump (1.5 quart I think).

Before it was fitted the engine did run quite hot - especially if I booted it for long stretches along the motorway. After it was fitted I can't really say I noticed it getting as hot - but then again I never really took much notice of the gauges.

I guess it can't have been running as hot or I would have (or I'd like to think I would have!) noticed!

I have one one mine 1600tp engine, came fitted when i got the van, never had any overheating probs yet. Since havin the van we havnt had a good summer . Have been down to cornwall a few times and use it most weekends during warmish weather time.
It must do some good for the cooling, mine sticks out under the chassis line and gets a lot of air flow over it when driving along, mines stock height if that makes any difference.

Will try and take a pic if im hame b4 it gets dark.
