A quick post to say thanks for all your help with the trim, especially creationblue - thanks just, followed your pics exactly!
had several visits to my uncle bryns workshop, yes, i have a real Uncle Bryn!! and there is nothing he cant engineer !!
then i tried to develop the nerves to drill the van.
1) masked up and measured as detailed in previous posts
2) used a punch to mark the spot, 50 of them
3) drill a tiny pilot hole
4) drilled main hole
5) screwed in the clips and the trim went on with a heart warming thud
without giving you the BS, I didnt develop the nerves afterall, so my clever big brother did the drilling!! Even Jay71 turned up and had a go! we didnt even break a drill bit...
i used old trim (thanks Nugsy) as i felt that it blended in with the bus better. even had help from the states from TUBDUB!!
