Now wheres that bus?

got a decent ladder with it, one that runs from roof to ground so no resting on the panels..

Cant wait to see it on..

Its light grey RAL 7035....I was thinking of polished but thought that may be a bit ot with the chrome etc.. and trying to match the english cream of the roof would have been difficult so opted for a subtle grey and really like the colour...

The ladders great...fits onto the rack when not in use saves lobbing it inside the bus just need to dig out a couple of webbing straps to tie it in place...

The wheel carrier I'm not sure on yet I'll wait to see it on the bus hopefully next week before I make up my mind plus should look different with a shod and nicely painted wheel.

The reason for there being an absence of back rail was so I could carry the Thule roofbox on big trips plus canoe and boards and rods, I did consider the full length rack but due to the top box it would be a waste of space and all the extra weight (they are fairly weighty as Willy76 said no need to drop the suspension  ). These are well constructed and solid should last a lifetime especially with the bag of powder that came with it to patch any nicks up, I think you guys awaiting yours on order will be pleased with the results.

If the wheel mount had allowed the wheel to sit horizontal it would have been perfect but its given me an idea 8)

The idea was so that the wheel hangs external to the rack so that the full capacity is still available, but I cant get it to sit right that way hence in the pic the wheel sits within the confines of the basket...might have to see what I can do

cheers for the comments guys - Araon's rack is exactly what we're about - made to suit a purpose
to the people who have stuff on order with us, i think you'll be just as happy

I did have another idea of putting the wheel horizontal on a pair of bows over the top of the three bow (double decker style but just shallow bows and a fixing plate )... OK so you may have to be in that special place with me to fathom what I'm talking about
