Hi all

I'm new to all this and would appreciate some advice.

Is is worth the effort to fit (or get someone else to fit) a 240v hookup? Would it be better to spend the money on a better leisure battery?

Thanks

I have just got one of the portable hook ups that justs has 3 sockets on the end with a breaker. Cost about £60 new from a caravan shop. 8)

easy's suggestion is probably the best solution all round if you need real power, but my suggestion is to live more simply!

Mine is like this one (didnt buy it from these people tho!)

I do this and just have the power sockets in the awning.

bugger... thought you said 240 hookers.... thinking now that looks interesting!

I have a leisure and 240 hook up. When on a camp site I find it really useful for using a heater etc. Easy's option is a pretty good idea
