My dual port, bog standard 1600 engine is currently out of my bus being worked on. I'll be rebuilding it on my bench/stand and fitting Weber 34ICT twin carbs. My question is, will I have to cut off the original bracket/plate that the old air filter sat on in order to fit the complete engine back into my bus?

Cheers

Yes remember to keep it safe, just in case for the future.

Alternatively, stick with the stock carb and sell me your twins dead cheap...

No? :(

Despite what they tell you they will be jetted incorrectly. Change the emulsion tubes and then get it on a rolling road
