Door Seal Adhesives: Info Required!

Am currently putting the front door seals into my 70 Early Bay. Any advice on the best adhesive to use(not Evostick), that gives you time to manouvre and adjust. I.e. not instant grab. Advice appreciated.

I just used contact adhesive, I applied it sparingly just on the edge of the rubber using a small brush just on the areas where it doesn't sit in the channel seems to work a treat

I only used glue in the bottom front corner by hinge, the rest should grip into the recess.
