Drive Shaft Oil Seal

I am hoping that somebody can help me with this

I have a slight leak from both Drive Shaft Oil Seals, this is the seal on the gearbox where the drive shaft goes in.

The van is a 68 LHD with a standard gearbox. I ordered the 68 only seals from VW heritage No 21 on the picture below and these ended
up being about 30mm to big in diameter. VW Heritage then sent out the 69 onwards seals but these are to wide :roll:

The Part Number on the seal thats currently fitted is 002-301-189A...........Could anyone advise on what I could do??

I got one of those seals for my 68 from Heritage .... it was just right :? I know availabilty on 68 and 69 box seals is very hit and miss.

Try cool air matt, I've found them very helpful and they have never sent me the wrong part. I get 99% of my stuff from them 8)
