Essentially it's 'bolt-on' lowering - it's fixed height so you need to be careful about selecting your drop, but it means that you retain your original ride quality (albeit with a slightly wider track (usually)) - everything else remains stock which goes down as another advantage I guess.

You need to be sure that the spindles have been well machined as they'll be supporting the front of your bus, and avoid welded spindles although very few are made this way nowadays.

They're also fairly pricey - get the best you can afford though!

All in all they're a good option if you don't mind the fact that they're not adjustable - IMHO of course!

;)

Thanks J & M (cool name Justin, that makes 2 of us)

So, once spindles are fitted i presume you can go back to standard set up?
Any pointers on where to get them?

thanks

Yeah, you can go back to stock - if you do a search for dropped spindles you'll see previous threads about various companies - with the pound so strong against the dollar it may be worth getting some from the states?...

;)

I'm sure that a few other things have to be chcnaged when you
go the dropped spindles route (track rods and stuff), but I could be wrong
