JUST A QUICK UPDATE ON MY 1971 BUS ADVERT,WHICH I PLACED A FEW WEEKS AGO
YOU CAN VIEW THE OLD ADVERT AND PHOTOS UNDER JAMIEBUS.
THIS IS A 1971 TIN TOP VW BAYWINDOW BUS IN SUPER DRY AND SUPER SOLID CONDITION.
THE WELDING NEEDED IS TO REPLACE THE PASSENGER SIDE BULK HEAD WHICH HAS BEEN CUT OUT,
AND THERES A SMALL SKYLIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOF THAT NEEDS WELDING UP.AND ONLY A SMALL BITOF WELDING UNDER FRONT WHEEL ARCH,BUT REALLY SMALL,THE REST OF THE BUS IS SO SOLID.
THE BUS HAS NOT GOT ANY INTERIOR,SO ITS A BLANK CANVAS.
THE ENGINE AND GEARBOX IS THERE BUT NOT IN DRIVING CONDITION
PLEASE LOOK AT THE OLD ADVERT FOR THE PHOTOS.
THIS BUS HAS SUCH COOL RED PATINA PAINT WORK,THE BEST I EVER SEEN.
PUT YOUR OWN MARK ON THIS COOL BUS AND IT WOULD BE WORTH AROUND £15K
I CAN SEND NEW PHOTOS ONCE I HAVE PICKED UP NEXT WEEK.
ALL THE IMPORT DUTIES WILL BE PAID FOR AND VAT,WILL COME WITH THE NOVA LETTER

Do you have any up to date photos of this yet?

Photos of cut bulkhead and condition of chassis including what areas need work would be useful.

Also you say the engine/gearbox is not working, is it still fitted?

Hello graham
Thank you for your email,i will be getting new photos this wednesday so i can email you some new photos.
This bus is a walk through its just the passenger side bulk head cut out,but it has not been cut down to the floor.
In the middle of the roof there is a skylight fitted,justs needs removing and welding up.
On the drivers side front floor near the floor if that makes sense there is a small hole and behide the drivers front wheel,but only small hole again.
They chassis rails and rear floor are so solid also the battery tray are solid
Will send you new photos on wednesday,the engine and gearbox is all there and installed but a none runner,engine does turn over by hand so not seized.
All the correct paper work comes with the bus.
