Hi

I've just replaced my fuel filler on my fuel tank and as it's an early the usual suspects don't stock them only the short ones, I was too late to get a piece that shorty had sourced so I've bought a length my self and I'm selling on the remainder to re-coup some costs

I'm selling them for £25 each same as shorty which is still cheaper than the short ones available from vwh and m7 etc I have 4 available

All you need is a couple of jubilees and you're away

The measurements are 54mm internal diameter, by 200mm long, this is what I needed for mine but please measure the length of yours before ordering

Hope shorty doesn't mind me copying this off his sale post

Hi all,

I've got some pre-cut sections of tubing for the fuel tank filler. These are a silicon hose with a flouro-carbon lining... This last bit is REALLY important as without it the hose is not suitable for use with fuel or oil..

The hose has a 6mm wall thickness, the silicon part is braided 4 times.

When I was looking around the usual suppliers I could not find anyone supplying the right length pipes for an early bay, hence I made my own, and some more for you guys...

I have cut them to the right length compared to the original part I removed from my 69 bus.

Please note: these are NOT suitable for a late bay, earlies only!

Pricewise I'm asking £25 posted please (I have got several pieces available)

I'd be interested in one of these if it fit's my van. Mine's a May 71, would this be the right size?

Hi Kev,

To be honest I haven't worked on a 71 bus, so I don't know, best thing would be to measure your existing hose to check compatibility , these are 54mm internal dia by 200mm long :)

Many thanks Shaun

Try here, it's where a few of us have bought the fuel filler hose from. You need a 250mm length and trim it down to suit.

Sparky, thank you sir. :D
