Hi guys I don't post very often as I normally find the answers in other threads, but can't seem to find the answer to this.
My problem is I have a CSP front disc kit fitted to my 69 bay that I fitted about 10 years old, so this is one of the first kits they made, so don't know which kit it would be now!
I want to lower the camper more using dropped spindles but the only ones I can buy are for 72-79. If I didn't have the CSP kit already it wouldn't be a problem but I don't want to buy another disc kit.
So my question is what is the difference between early and late spindles?
How can I use the CSP kit I've got with the later spindles?
Is it just the bearings that are a different diameter?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I pressed the wrong button! Sorry it's all there now I think. Cheers

I think bearing is the same for all years and difference is mounting for the callipers

Transporterhaus and T2D both do dropped spindles for 68-69 busses

I don't like the idea of the balljoints upside down. I'm after a set that keep all balljoints up the way VW intended. Thanks for the info.

Wagenswest spindles are available for all years. Not upside down ball joints but they are welded. Only available from the states (or second hand on here from time to time).
