EB!4 - Another Great Event!!

Well finally back from EBI4 and the event was as good as ever, lots of air cooled drag racing and lots of great people, amazed by the amount of brits that made the trip this year. Good run to the port meeting up with Pete B & Aaron at Cambridge, them met Rick (rjb63) and Matt (matt1984) at the port as well as a few other bays and then over to France on Thursday pm. Quick overnight halt at the delightful Dunkerque car park and then onto Chimay to meet Matt & Lisa, Steve & Liv, Karle & Alice, Matt & Shelley,Clem & Wally, some of the Dweebs and I Am Rob off here in his Cadillac which has to be the size of 2 buses to form the EB Camping pitch.

Met loads of others Alex and the Auto Techniks crew, Bondo, Rusty Lee, Guiddo, Puppy, Loweredlight etc etc, the list goes on.

Burn out area a great success and hope to see it again next year!!

Great Weekend with good company and a good cruise last night and today in searing heat, as far as I'm aware all the buses made it OK, and so did Callum's beetle for his first foray driving into Europe and in a 40 year old beetle.

BO HOO.. watched enviously as all you guys made you way to and from the event as I live just above the eurotunnel at Cheriton. Next year it will be a different story hopefully.. fingers crossed.

Jeez, did I really look that rough doing breakfast!!?? :shock:
Top weekend,
good stuff; cars, racing, racing cars, great road trip, old friends, new friends, Jupiler, the crazy Cadilac and crew, unexpected champagne (congrats again!), busses, blue cheese melted on burgers, loads of sunshine, mega cheap and lovely Bulgarian Merlot, 'The Jiffy Bus' doing brill do-nuts in the burnout box, top vintage drag racing, having my boy with me (essential!!), new sat nav that actually works, Chimay red at a mere 7% abv, loads more but most of all my beloved bus getting us to and from the show (5th Euro trip!) yet again without missing a beat!!!!!

not so good stuff; cold showers, not enough time to see and do everything, 4 euro for a cone of chips, having to come home.

Roll on the next one. 8)

My first Bug In, and what a show. There's mad antics going off everyway you look.
That blue bay from autotechnics would still be in thr burnout zone if they'd have let them.
Great that the town is shut off to outside traffic on Saturday night to allow the show to spread out even further.
Unlike any other show i've been to.
See you there in 2013 to do it all again.
