No worries Clyde but to warn you i'm a permanent forgetful nightmare so make sure if you see me you say hello and remind me ;)

Graham. Glad you got the 'new' bus back all ok. Have bought a new CB and antenna, all seems to be fine thanks mate. I also have an SWR meter in the bus, so can save you blowing up your new unit! Did text you Sat night, will be in touch before Thursday, but see you at Cambridge services on A14 at 5.00pm Thursday. Will be a novelty to speak to someone on the CB for something other than a transmission check from the local ham radio geek!! The new split charge has blown the fuse once, got to keep an eye on that, newly installed (today) tacho shows just over 3000rpm at approx 55mph, can live with that. Oil change and front end lube, and that's about it. Starting and running too well to interfere with the ignition system.(thats blown it.....). Oh, lash up curtains time permitting, otherwise roll on Thursday. WOO HOO!!!

Edit; Have just thought, is it not a legal requirement now in France to carry a hi-vis vest as well as a warning triangle, spare bulbs and first aid kit? Best have driving licence and all vehicle documents as well, would save hassle if plod took an interest....

Im going to have to get my act together if ive any hope of going this year.............

Ive already blown it
havent sorted my engine properly - have exhaust leaks still from trying to fit a 4into1 header onto a stroker motor(if only I had thought things out before buying a new exhaust  ), also found out yesterday that my carbs from Italy had 3x57 idles & 1x52 idle - I'm hoping that the 52 was reamed to 57 but who knows????

Anyone interested in a bargain price on a pair of tickets with onsite camping & a ferry crossing?

Loxy sorry to here about your woes. On the bright side i might be interested in your 4 into 1 depending on make, material and price. ;)

My woes are all my own doing - I should have been driving it around ages ago but got too hung up on messing with the paint & wheels
Its a stainless turbo thomas header, assuming I can get the replacement merged header to fit up ok with the TT turbo muffler (hopefully by the end of the weekend) then I was planning to stick it up for sale on here with some pics etc the flange is quite large so you may want to swap it? - I will send you the info first if you are still interested - price I guess around £100 posted.

Well, this it! Quarter to three and just the cool boxes and fridge to load up. Then pick up Aaron and off we go to meet Graham 'en route'. (see what I did there?!) Bound to have forgotten something but isn't that always the way! Fingers crossed for the weather and the old bus behaving itself. Catch ya all later!!!!
