Engine Lid Hinge pin

Hello all,

Went to open my engine lid today and the pin that secure the hinge has sheared off. Its the outside hinge that looks as if it has a bolt heads on either end. Now hoping I can remove the old bolt does anyone know where I can get a new hinge pin / bolt? I've looked at VW Heritage and JK but nothing on their web sites. Advice would be gladly received. Cheers

Although this typo is slightly unfortunate "and now more sloppy engine lids." 8)

Thanks guys. So does it look like I have to buy the whole hinge rather than just the pin that goes through the middle? The ones on the ebay shot haven't got bolt heads at either end. Here is a pic of mine...

That looks like a PO enhancement

if you buy new get them from custom and com, got some from status payed a fortune for them and they snapped.

Any tips on taking them off? Its either going to be easy or a complete bugger!

I've got some pins if you want them, as I've just removed mine from the hinges to replace with quick release pins to allow for easy removal of the whole lid. I can send you one if you want.
