hi peeps i currently have a 1834 motor which has seen me good for a couple of years touring round europe but i recently had a valve spring go on me and i managed to drive with it broken all the way back from norway (long story but it was my only option) back to uk .i m lookin to down grade to a 1776 but i can t seem to find a decent thread that just gives me a simple answer so im confused on what to go for.
what parts to get etc
as it stands the engine is 1834 with a 110 cam twin forties standard heads oo9 dizzy extenal oil cooler just usual mods , iwant to keep price as low as possible
any links advice would be most appreciated as i m not the most mechanically minded so will be buying the kit to give to a friend wholl build it up .
thanx again in advance 8)

i can convert your engine back to a 1776,which would cost about,
£220/£230 for the new p & b's,
£70 labour cost,
£10 for new gaskets & seals,
£16 for a set of pushrod tubes,
price for head repair depends on what damage there has been done to the head/valve ??,
thanks lee.
