Given that 1970 fuse boxes are rare as rocking horse pooh, what have people done to get around this?

Sorry, I can't get the pic to show, please click on the link, the fuse fox has been torn in two by the spring pressure on the fuses!

Does this help? https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/bay-bus/electrical/fusebox-relays/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yes I know but to get you out of trouble you could double up on one, say wipers and indicators, (increasing the amp fuse) plus say the aux and hooter, for example.

If you don't like that idea, you could use the ten fuse box and add two of those auxiliary line fuses, that use modern blade fuses.

Thanks Tricky, I think the doubling up idea would work! At the moment I have gobbed it back together with some epoxy, and a tie wrap, hopefully that will hold together for the moment, whilst I order a replacement.
Regards,
Elliott
