Front gearshift rod pinch bolt coming loose?

Hi guys does anyone know if there should be something to secure the pinch bolt on the front gearshift rod as mine keeps coming loose after about 3 months or do of daily driving?

Should I just locktite it?

Should have safety wire through it bud.yiu've prob noticed the hole through the head of the bolt? That's where ut goes through and straps round the shift rod.

I can send you some if you want,save buying a whole roll?

I didn't notice the hole I'll have a poke around at it it must be there it's a square head bolt is that right
