Hi
So I've had enough of jerking about with the fuel gauge on my bus and decided to fit an old VDO gauge I've got knocking about instead.
But it has a different ohm range to the standard tube style sender fitted.

I believe the ohm range on these tube style one to be 10 to 90 ohms, someone correct me if i'm wrong?

Anyway the gauge I've fitted is wildly different and give a reading of half full when the bus has a bout a £5 worth of fuel in.

I've got two choices, buy another gauge with the same ohm range, any suggestions?

Or for a few quid buy a Potentiometer and solder it in line between the sender and the gauge, giving me the ability to adjust it!
Any sparks out there who have any knowledge of these, got to be worth a couple of quid to give it a try?

Might help bus owners with a standard setup get more accurate readings!

I must have nothing better to do..right!! :)

any help appreciated!

cheers
