Doing a bit of maintenance today and I find this. It has done less than 500 miles. Garbage. I had to replace my alternator because of the last pulley cracking. Lucky I found this otherwise I could have been buying another one.

Sick of crap parts. I also have a bottom pulley that has deg, TDC etc marked on it. That is to thick and grinds against the tin work. After market sh**

Sorry mods posted in wrong place in angerv

I know exactly how you feel. The thing is I would be prepared to pay a little more for new quality items but not so easy to find. The quality of some of the after market stuff is truly shocking! Unfortunately crap usually made in China. I worked in the Oil & Gas industry and none of the Oil companies would accept ANY component were the metals were sourced from China, India and some of the former Eastern Block nations.

Try to find an original VW pulley, that will not give you any trouble.

This^^^^^^ or a CB performance billet too pulley. Pricey but worth every penny, I have 1 on my 2110.

Got an original crank shaft pulley. It’s back on. Alternator pulley just ordered from JK. Want to be out and about ASAP running out of summer. Engines out this winter as I have oil in the bell housing so all these issues will be sorted before Christmas
