Gearbox main shaft bearing change?

has anyone got any tips for changing a main shaft bearing? ( the one behind the nosecone )
mines shit it pants and needs changing desperately.. don't have any tools to take the gearbox to bits though..

anyone ever had any luck with a puller?

you normally have to dismantle the gearbox to get it out and install it back since it needs pressing on the shaft and in the intermediate housing(if it slides easily then you have more problems), I would not recommend using puller without dismantling but it is possible. what is the problem with your gearbox? I have rebuilt one that can sell.
