Gearbox mounts

Afternoon all,

Has anybody found a source for gearbox mounts? Mines a '71, I've just looked on Heritage and they're saying 'No Longer Available' :shock:

Cheers for the links Tintop,

I checked them out but as I suspected I couldn't find any for a '71. There are loads for Splitties and Bays after '72 not for mine.

Are the mounts really that different across the years or could I get some to fit? I haven't got my bus at the minute so I can't do much checking. Anybody any ideas?

there are no mounts on the engine end and the support on the front will rarely let you down. why you changing it?

I was asking about the mounts on behalf of a mate. She's just bought a bus despite the fact that during the test drive it popped out of 4th a couple of times.

Some folk on VZi suggested that it could be just the gearbox mounts as opposed to something more sinister with the box itself so I decided to try and track some down. No luck so far it would seem.[/quote]

on a bay its more likely to be the gearbox than the mounts. :wink:
