Been at these rear brakes for too long now but getting there, was about to start adjusting and bleeding them then I noticed the rear left handbrake cable was off the hook (dont know the technical term  ) at the front end.
I loosened it off from inside the van as loose at would go and tried to pull it back in place but no luck, I then had a stupid idea that I could take this nut off inside the van lower the cable down, place over the mechanism and refit ? maybe not so easy . The cable wont reach no matter how much I try to pull it due to the spring at the rear end, I'm not sure if the cable is maybe too short and needs replaced ? or if I should remove it completely and try refitting it again, but then I cant see any other way of fitting it than inserting it from the rear (hope the mrs isn't reading this  ).
