Hey Earlybayers,
Loving the support I'm getting here, thanks for being such a welcoming lot!
So... Fitting heat exhangers in the hope I can get heat into the camper, and I think my heater cables must have snapped at some point and become shorter in the past, as they're really only just poking out of the rubber grommets. I can't see how I could make these reach to attach that to the heat exchanger levers. The image below doesn't really give an accurate sense of the distance between the two, but does show the condition of the cable.
Presumably, if this is the case, I'll need to run a new cable through from the dash? How difficult is this?
Secondly, as you can see in that image, the heat exchanger has a very loose fit with the duct / tube, am I supposed to try and put a jubilee clip on there? Pretty certain the plastic will fall apart if i do that! Time for new ones anyway?
Thanks in advance!
