My accerlorator pedal is ****** for lack of a better description, it does not spring back any more and does not rev the engin as hard cant find a reason for it. Can't find anything in the haynes manual about the accelortator cable so I need ideas guys please and thank you

Hiya Gman,

It's not all that uncommon for an accelertor cable to cut a notch in a somewhat misaligned fanshroud pass-through tube. This notch then works against the action of the cable which may well account for the symptoms you describe. In any event this is something you want to check out because the cable won't last long if it is in this situation.

Thanks for the reply dude I found the problem, the cable had started to slip through the clamp at the engine bay
