Good evening all,

Now the low light levels have hit, I have been forced to turn on my lights :(

Whilst side lights are fine (dipped?), I have no main beam only high / full beam, if I tug on my stalk.......nothing happens, or rather still high beam.

So something is amiss on the indicator stalk I imagine - any ideas for a fix?

Keep it clean people ;)

Hi pal I had similar problem to you I had to pull the indicator stork three or four times to get high beam I took the stork to pieces cleaned it all and it made no difference so I changed the relay and all was ok. Cheers phil

Pulling the stalk literally only makes two contacts touch - this then triggers the relay. Might be worth checking the contacts are clean first, and then switch out the relay. This is probably the most likely failure point.

I had this at the weekend. Turned out to be the relay not properly seated in the fuse box. Could only have high beam, no flash and no mains. Held in with electrical tape now until I can figure out something more permanent.
