Hi

Im looking at my options for putting a hook up on 68 bay,its not got 1 fitted and i dont want to cut a hole in the side of the van,i could open the slat window and take the hook up in this way with a couple of sockets as temp measure when camping but its not the best choice,

wheres best to put the outlet so its hidden?

thanks

Depending how low you are you could mount an angled socket under the van so the cable would come up under a seat or cupboard, you only need a hole big enough to take 16a cable and a couple of mounting holes.

It means you don't have to cut bodywork or leave the engine lid open

The easiest way would be in the engine bay on the side opposit the battery, you should be adle to run the lead through the rear bulkhead to under the rear seat/rock and roll bed.

This way you wont need to cut the body anywhere.
