Well now I've got my lovely satin finish to my bus,I want to keep it like that. Now you see the 50's leadsled's and hot rodder's all in a nice satin or even matt finish.SOOOO how the hell do they get it ?
I've gotta put a topcoat/lacquer on it surely or its just going to rub of.Now when I was younger i used to finish all my wargame figures in satin.Which I could get in large cheep rattle cans. But they have disappeared so that blows that plan. And the paint suppliers only have 2k.....urgh.So anyone got any ideas ??

Just add matting agent to the laquer, the more you add, the matter it gets.

I wouldn't have a matt or satin finish, it's not hard wearing like full gloss, it's an arse to clean & dirt gets ground in. You can't polish any marks or scratches out either.

It may sound like a good idea, but in everyday practice it's crap.

Trust me, you will wish you hadn't...
