Hi im tryin to put the windows back in my top after renovated it and im bit stuck thinking of do I put the seal on the window then string it into the hole then put the rubber strip in from the top after
Any tips or advice please

Cheers

Rubber goes around the glass and as you describe it. The insert goes in last but the whole thing is the biggest pain in the arse. I didn't use the "tool", just a very blunt screwdriver to open the rubber slot.
Take your time and have a mate help, and do it on a day that's not too sunny, cos you will certainly work up a sweat getting the bugger in with the sun streaming through the glass!!

Ok cool think im gonna give it a go tomorrow night do u need to use like wd40 on the fibreglass edge when using string like a side window

Cheers

O never 1 more thing does the hole thing go in from above or below
Thanks

I put mine in from above and pulled the lip over onto the inside.

Tip- leave that plastic bead in a bucket of hot water until you need it.it will make it softer and easier to use.

Just following up, these were a b#!/=+d to do I had 2 mates underneath an 2 of us on top the hard part was the main seal not the thin tenshon strip, used wd40 in the end found it the best, u need to kind of ballance the pushing of the glass from top and bottom while some one screw drivers the main seal on then use 2inch cut offs of the strip in a few places to hold it there then feed il in propperly all way round I brought a tool from jk to do the 2nd bit wich took miniutes to do just the first seal took like 2 hrs of tryin

Hope this thred helps someone when there doing this
