Drove mine back from its MOT on thursday and apart from it pulling slighty to 1 side when i braked (needs adjusting) the drum brakes dont seem to bad really. Seemed to brake ok from the 45 MPH i managed to do  so just wandering really how many still roll with front drums?

Drums all round.
strong right leg!!
Advance planning...
Where abouts are you?
I'm often in Addlestone

Drums here & I agree Froggy, they are fine, I have no probs at all

Drums are the only way to roll............

And I'm not just saying that because I can't afford CSP's atm

Yeah me also, Drums are OK but can be a bit worrying when towing especially when things are running away down hills its agood job I'm over 15.5 st & 6ft3'' just standing on them generally does the job for me

drums here too, bit scary, but then not had discs to compare them to!

Late bay discs on mine. Drums are fine as long as adjusted regular. Discs fit and forget and no adjustments

Drums here too.. although had a scary moment last year when I boiled the fluid and lost all braking just as I hit a sharp corner going into Cheddar, fortunately I was only doing 20 mph.........

Hhhhhmmmmpppmmm,, drums for me too, got a set of discs (72) but likes my wide 5s,, plus my mate keeps on to me to fit the discs  so I don`t  If you can get the stance right,,, stood up on the brakes but ` look ` like you`re sat down and not making any effort !

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, Cool looks effortless,,,,,,, 8) ;) 8)

(Stock) discs (no servo) on my '71... stock drums on the '70 I've been driving a lot lately.

Gotta say, the brakes on my '71 feel far better... stop evenly and far less pedal travel.
Whatever we adjust on the '70 there is still a lot more pedal travel...
