How old is everyone?

Just wondering how old everyone is and how old you were when you got your first bus?
I'm 23, got my 69 Deluxe two years ago so 21 and got a complete rust bucket of a late bay two years earlier so 19.

Any other young'uns? 8)

i'm 46 got my first bus when i was 27 bloody hell nearly 20 years of owning a bus :shock:

..... wife and bus are exactly the same age - bus benefited from a few replacement panels and a bit of welding/respray over the years - the wife is OG and starting to show a nice patina !

I'm 41 now, got my 1st bus at 21..It was a 67 Splitty that been parked in a hedge for 15 years, cost me £50 :shock: Actually got it started and drove it home, my folks were not impressed to say the least. My old man said 'your not parking that piece of S**t outside my house!!!'....good old days :mrgreen:

And both are very expensive to maintain, in my experience. :lol:

45 and got my bus at 42 and I still haven't driven it. My son drove it off the transporter to the workshop and it hasn't moved since.

Recently turned 26 and bought my first bus when I was 22 (I think). Nearly bought one when I was 19 but head (and grateful pockets) ruled heart :lol:
