Just wondering how old everyone is and how old you were when you got your first bus?
I'm 23, got my 69 Deluxe two years ago so 21 and got a complete rust bucket of a late bay two years earlier so 19.

Any other young'uns? 8)

..... wife and bus are exactly the same age - bus benefited from a few replacement panels and a bit of welding/respray over the years - the wife is OG and starting to show a nice patina !

 ^^^

I'm 41 now, got my 1st bus at 21..It was a 67 Splitty that been parked in a hedge for 15 years, cost me £50  :D Actually got it started and drove it home, my folks were not impressed to say the least. My old man said 'your not parking that piece of S**t outside my house!!!'....good old days

And both are very expensive to maintain, in my experience.

I am late comer to this lark, and wish I had bitten the bullet 20 or even 30 years ago  .

Recently turned 26 and bought my first bus when I was 22 (I think). Nearly bought one when I was 19 but head (and grateful pockets) ruled heart
