Ive got a replacement beam in the to go on my 72 t2, is there an easy way to lower the van by a few inches

Was thinking about front and rear, at the moment it is stock hight.

Havnt got me old one off yet to compare, dos'nt look like there has been any work done on it. It was a South African import. Rock solid.

the best way is to fit either dropped spindles to the front, or weld in adjusters

and for the back you can either turn the springplates on the torsion bars or run horse shoe rear plates.

Check out slammedrestos thread in the gallery I've just slammed his bus

cheers
