I hope i never grow up properly

Had a great day yesterday, helped a mate fetch his bug and get it back to his wearhouse.
Went in a borrowed Land Rover which has had the full off road treatment (mini monster truck) so had some fun with that. All the usual things really, like forgetting the keys and having to break in, getting it on the trailer with the steering lock on a funny angle. Just a mad day.
Kidnapped my daughter on her way home from school snatch style in the black pimp land rover which she thought was quite cool and finished off down the pub for a little session (got home at 1.15am)
Who says you have to grow up when you reach 40.

Dragged a Reliant Scimitar out of a garden the other day in a John Lewis truck and towed it to a mates, should have seen the stares,
Still love doing things like that and im 46 8)

Draw the line at kidnapping children though. :mrgreen:

I just drove fron San Diego to San Jose CA(about 8 hours drive each way) to pick up my keeper(riiiiight) this '71 blue bus. Invited my dad to help me drive and took off after work, no sleep, we drove about 1 to 2 hours each at a time. We got the stares, we got the comments at the petrol stations, and the - oh no not another bus! line from the wife. :lol:

I can't remember the font name, it maybe called chiller on windows.

I have 5000 fonts but cant find one called 'chiller' is there anything similiar, was it square text or more rounded or like handwriting?
like any of these? if the sticker is approx 3cm higher and 35cm long it would be £5 inc postage.

had the same problem with a 62 sunroof bug I picked up - only we picked it up in Hungary fortunately the support vehicle I purchased with it performed flawlessly - 56 oval sunroof eventually had to leave the 62 on the forecourt of a german vw garage & picked it up a couple of weeks later on a trailer - it was right in the middle of their forecourt when we got there - they even cleaned & polished it, they didnt charge me a penny for storage either. I like german vw garages 8)

The font was like the marker pen one but grainy round the edges.

But, yeh got to agree, why grow up totally. That'd be boring! I love that saying, growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional 8)
