buy british.... theyre designed for british conditions....

Do you know of any British manufactures?

Tiki and Second Skin, both in Braunton.
I can't recommend Second Skin highly enough, just grown out of my summer suit after 15 years use....

What he said ^. Same story but I got the Tiki. Awesome quality and they will repair them too. Surfing year round is enjoyable in the right suit.

Mine was a second skin too :)

Alder are good too. Bought my winter suit in Woolacombe and it's great. Smaller British companies let the bigger global companies (Gul, Oneill, Quiksilver, Rip Curl etc) do all the expensive product testing and then rip them off and produce their own version, often to a better standard

i have an alder as well, its a great suit really well made and brilliant value as well.

Just to let you know that with the help of Johnny I have managed to secure 3 wetsuits:

A 5 mm Alder and a 3mm Marlin for me, plus a ladies MB titanium for the daughter.
Received these on Friday and the fit is pretty good so hoping to go out soon.

Many thanks Johnny and everyone who contributed to the thread

Cheers

Andy
