RH Specialist came out best for me this year by quite a margin. Unlimited mileage and breakdown cover was included too

Heritage (0845 330 0660) were £40 more but could offer 'Agreed Value'

RH Specialist (01277 206911) were cheaper but wouldn't do 'Agreed Value', unless it was kept in the garage.

Cherished (0845 250 8267) told me to sod off. I had to have at least a years experience driving LHD before they would even talk to me :evil:

I'd say that £40 is nowt for the piece of mind that agreed valuation brings. We hear too many stories of insurers paying peanuts when they can get away with it. Its a pity that Cherished won't play ball, as they are one of our sponsors.

Clem may be able to do a very realistic and objective valuation on request.

Yeah, cherished told me to "go forth and multiply" as well. Said my postcode wasn't good enough. Think I'll just re-insure with Peter Best Insurance (01376570033).

thanks all went with cherished 160 all in including break down limited to 2000 miles but thats enough for me

Just insured mine prior to registration with DVLA and before mondays MOT, Cherished couldnt cover me as I only have insurance on my motorbike and not on another car (named driver doesnt count) so went with RH Specialist!

£144 all in happy with that!
