can i ask, ive 2 original westy interior lights that i am switching over to the leisure battery.
how much of a drain are these ?? ie, left on all night for couple nights would it kill the battery ?
potts

Pretty much yes if they are running original type filament bulbs and left on all night for 2 nights.

You can get bulb replacements. They are leds built into holders that fit into the existing bulb holders - see on ebay for example. These could run all night without flattening the battery - that said most people dont leave lights on all night

Cheers trikky, I only said 2 nights to get a gauge of what I could expect drainage wise against time.
I wouldn't want them on all night as it would mean being able to see the misses for all that time :msn4:

Cheers potts

Measure the current draw on the lights ( put a ammeter in series with the lights), divide the leasure batterys amp hr rating by the current draw and that will give you how long they will last.

ie if you have a 80 AH battery and you light current draw is 2 amp it will last 40 hours.
