Hi all
Just wanting to confirm something. Running J tubes means the fanhousing outlets have been blocked off (see pic), BUT when heat exchangers where there obviously the air used to go down the pipes to them. The exchangers even when closed allowed some air to bypass down from the fan housing, therefore blanking them off when running J tubes means ALL the air is forced out your flaps regardless. Reading posts, I beleive its better to drill a small hole (10p size ??) in each blanking plate to allow some airflow albeit the outlet pipe leads to fresh air under the tinware and not an exchanger.
SO, am I correct in this ? what size hole do you think ?
pic shows where i am talking about in slimey snotty green
cheers
