I'm looking to get a set of K and N filters for my Dellorto DRLA 36's, but cant seem to find the right ones on the K and N website, I was just wondering if anyone has bought them ? if so do you know what item number they were?

Also what's the difference between large oval and small oval ?

Thank

Mark

This is the assembly you want: http://www.knfilters.co.uk/search/product.aspx?Prod=56-1691

or you can just get the elements: http://www.knfilters.co.uk/search/product.aspx?Prod=E-3341

and fit them in some generic filter assemblies which is what I did, but for the life of me I can't remember where I got them from. All I can remember is I picked them up from Slough one year, they were no name chrome ones suitable for the K&N elements. Not as expensive s the K&N ones and the chrome is still looking good 5 years on!

Would also recomend you fit velocity stacks inside the filters as well.

Awesome, Thanks. I have a set of velocity stacks ready, its just i wanted a decent set of air filters. any thoughts on if they are better than the cheap stuff you get normally ?

K&N filters are brilliant, virtually fit and forget. I have had them on all my cars VW's and others for nearly 20 years! Far better than any no name brand "performance" filter IMO.

pricey though! with discount £120 a set!!

oh well I have done my bollox on the rest of the engine so cant skimp on filters :p

They look good too!!

true :)

you just reminded me, I need a fuel cut off :)

where did you get your one from ?

Fuel cut off?

Not got one. I think you may be looking at my oil pressure sender? Or maybe the tap on the left? That came from a mate who no longer needed it, don't know where he got it from.

I do have my electric fuel pump wired through a relay triggered by the charge light so it only pumps when the engine is actually running. There is also an inertia switch wired in to the same circuit which cuts off the fuel pump in the case of an impact.

its the tap to the left I was looking at, what does that do ?

I like the wiring idea for the fuel pump.

It is simply a fuel shut off tap should I need to take out the engine or pull the carbs or whatever. Bit more high tech than shoving a bolt down the end of your pipe!

Want K&N's for my 2110 but I have 48's with big ram pipes and the size I need are nearly £200! Will wait a couple of months
