Right then, I want my missus to drive my Early once in a while but she wont as its a LHD.
Feel shes missing out by not trying, Surely owning a Bus isnt just a man thing,is it?
Any female owners on here with left or right hand drive vans?
Chaps, do your wives, partners drive your bus ever?

Rich

Had my bus 11 years and no lady has ever driven it, aside from my wife who did 20 feet in a car park once. Says it is too unwieldy to drive.

My missus drives the bus all the time, loves it.

Fact that she owns it is irelavent
Its a right hand drive but shes just as happy in a lefty.

My wife drove ours a few miled, shes not bothered about the LHD, she had problems finding gears though!

Emma drives our rhd occasionally, I followed driving a different vehicle once and she drove frank from bristol volksfest back home to stafford.

she had the handbrake on all the way!....

I being the female of the species as it were own a LHD double cab. :D I was as most people would be anxious at driving a LHD for the first time, my local vw specialist gave me the best piece of advice i have ever had regarding an old LHD vw.......just dont think about changing gear, it will come naturally. It does......if you think about it too much you cannot find the gears for love nor money!!!! Best bit as any lefty driver will tell you is that when your local idiot chavs feel the need to wave or shout at you as you are driving along at a more sedate pace they speak to an empty seat.

Give her time and have patience otherwise she may never have a go.

my wife drives the van every day, uses it to take the boys to nursery. My eldest (2 yrs old) doesn't like going in the car to nursery. Think he has the VW craze allready

My misses can barely drive a car so there's no way she's ever driving the bus

Used to have a BMW 3 series convertible. She managed to revere it into another car (she had the top down at the time)
THE top, not hers LOL

Ant, does Em know you just told on her?

Funny as...............

New thread, PICTURES OF OUR LADIES IN BUSES?

My missus only has a provisional licence at the moment but I did drunkenly promise her she could drive the bus if she past her test! :p  :?

My gf drives my van, and took it all the way from Bristol to Santa Pod the other week, without me being there to back seat drive! She is a much better driver than me but sssshhhhh ;) she might hear! ;)

I'm a girl and ive driven my van all over the place! Been to quite a few european shows in it and have even taken it round the nurburgring  (albeit v.slowly)
I love driving it :D
