Hi all.

I need a new one, what's better a 70 or 110 Ah one?

Who does good ones, Halfords do them but a 110 is £140 :shock: whereas justkampers do them for less.

Anyone know who is best, where to get them etc, Hampshire area preferably!

Try these folk
http://www.stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Lucas-batteries-direct" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They sell an 85Ah for £62.99 and 110Ah for £79.99 inc free delivery. Got my leisure one and Dads car battery from them. Very quick delivery and well packaged.
If the link doesn't work, just search for 'lucas batteries direct' and it will lead you to the e-bay shop. Which one depends on the supply needed and space available. Mine is the 85Ah mounted in the engine bay, not sure if the 110 would fit? The shop gives all the dimensions and don't forget to strap it down! (obvious I know.....)
Hope this helps.

EDIT; don't know why the link has come up with' .... 'instead of 'Lucas-batteries-direct', it is typed correctly on the message screen?

i've got one of these:

http://www.tayna.co.uk/ELECSOL-100-Carbon-Fibre-Battery-P5579.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

not used it a great deal but ok so far.

Got an Elecsol too. Get the biggest you can affort or that will fit.

These really hold their charge well without damage and ideal if you like me are a little lazy over the winter.

Most 110ah fit but as Pete says check the dimensions. The more AH the longer it will last before it needs a charge.

Any one know what the largest dimentions are that will fit in the passenger side (left...as mines RHD!) battery tray?

Thanks
