I've just lowered my bay, Adjusters on the front and turned 1 outer spline on the rear. I'm thinking of dropping the rear to 2 splines ! What size tyres would i need so the wheels fit ? they are standard 14" rims with van tyres at the mo. Also will i need to notch the spring plate with turning 2 splines ?

I think your main issue is likely to be changing the rear wheels if you get a puncture - it can be tricky to clear the rear arch with a two spline drop...

;)

I have to pull the arch out a bit to get mine out  worth it tho

Right I've sorted i think. i've dropped the rear by 2 splines and the front is on adjusters. Tyres on the rear are 185/70/14 but i have to fit these flat so they go under the arch ! Front are 185/65/14 these fit no problem also they will fit on the rear inflated too so I'll just keep a 185/65/14 as a spare, I'll get a can of that tyre weld stuff too.
Thanks for your help peeps, I'll try and a get a picture or two up late

If you fit a wheel then pump it up with tyre weld, how are you going to get it back off again?

If i have to use the tyre weld thats because I've got a punture ! So it will need to be repaired asap. To get the wheel off just take the valve out !

Sorry for the hi-jack but with a 1 spline drop would you have problems getting a wheel off?
I have a nice pair of 205/70 Bridegestones I was hoping to fit on FLat4 Fuchs :?

Are they 15" rims ? You might not get them on or off if they are ! Just drop one side and have a look. I know 65 profile are no problem at 1 spline

For what it's worth I'm running 15" 195/65s at the rear and my bus is lowered 2 splines at the back. I can't get the wheels off unless I deflate the tyres. :x
