Hi All

Anyone know how approx measurement raising or lowereing the bus 1 inner spline would give?

Many thanks

Simon

The answer is
measure the distance from torsion bar centre to wheel centre.
multiply by pi then multilply by 2 That gives you the circumference if you rotated the spring plate a full circle.
There are 44 inner notches, so divide the circumference you just calculated by 44 for 1 notch

or 2*pi*d/44 where d is distance between wheel and torsion bar centres.

I think it's about 60mm, but if you were to measure and calculate you'd know for sure.

Obviously, this calculates how far the wheel centre will move in an arc, rather than how much lower the bus will be - you've have to know the original springplate angle to work that out, but it will give a good idea within a mm or 2.
