what is week 38 is it 38 weeks into to the year (wk 1 jan 1 ??) and how do I find out the year

Correct and to find the year I need your chassis number

top of the M plate

the first two digits arent present but in your case they should be 23
A - is the model year i.e. 2 =1972
B - 2
CDEFGH - serial number

or on the vin plate.

So mine is a model year 71 week 31 puts it july of 71 one of the last 71s' within in the last 100 in fact...

Your a star bar!, this does my head in, this puts it as a September 17th 1970, the only prob with this is I have a Jan 70 usa reg :?

I need to double check the vin & M plate
