I noticed on your profile it says 'year of van 1969' but your M code comes up 70.
What does it say on your V5? Just curious as to how they work it out, calender year or does it have a different system?

I'm not convinced the week and month bit is right on the coding, as I'm sure it refers to week 2 of production, not week 2 of the year but haven't got the book here with me so cannot check at the moment.

68 & 69 MY vans had the earlier plate where it was dead easy told you the date and month but it changed for 70 MY onwards which is from August 69.

May be completely wrong but will have a look tonight,

Thats what I got from the book. The numbers were in the wrong format for a 69 vin plate & the 20 at the start indicates a 70 model year.

OK Mate, I did say I wasn't sure I just know its not that easy to track down build dates for 70 MY onwards as they made it too complicated for simple people like me
