Ever since I brought my bus it has had it's main battery sat on the passenger side of the engine bay, with a long wire taking the +12V across to where it should be. Now I have moved the battery to its correct position (making room for a leisure battery) I have no idea where the earth is supposed to go!

In the Haynes manual there is a picture showing the earth going up onto the wheel arch but on a crosser this is paneled in.

Has anyone got a picture of where this should go on a crossover (I could drill a hole and mount it but if there is a hole already i would rather use that one).

Any help appreciated

Arran.

Just take the -ve battery lead/strap to a large nut, bolt and washer secured to a solid part of the van's bodywork. Scarpe away any paint to make sure you get a really good contact, and then cover with a smear of grease, etc to prevent corrosion. :)

That's what I'm going to do, I was just wondering where it was when it left the factory?
