With some time off from work I've decided to start on the engine bay to replace the missing panels.
Before welding I'm cleaning back all the metalwork & rustproofing or replacing. Whilst it's raining I retreated to the garage to modify the tinware from over the gearbox ready for the new engine.
I used an old beetle piece that I planned to graft to my original. There was plenty of trial fitting before I was happy.
